Main Triple Chair Lift Returns (March 16)
Thursday, March 16th marks the return of Searchmont Resort's Main triple chair lift. This will be a historic day for the resort as we will return to having 100% of our lifts available for the first time in three years.
In the past three years we have accomplished a lot with our lift fleet. We now have two new triple chair lifts with the Goulais replacing our double last season and Buzzsaw making its debut earlier this year. The learning centre also saw the addition of two new belts as well. And of course, starting tomorrow, we will have an upgraded Main triple chair lift equipped with a brand new drive station.
We can't thank our outside operations team enough for all of their hard work over the past few years to accomplish all of this. And a big thank you to all of our guests and community partners that have continued to show us their support while we implemented all of these upgrades. All of the improvements we have been making will ensure that we will be able to offer some incredible skiing and snowboarding for years to come.
