Gates & Grills for the Girls (March 10)
Searchmont Resort is proud to partner with Women In Crisis - Algoma Inc. to present Gates + Grills For The Girls; a fundraising race and BBQ, on Friday March 10th!
Women In Crisis will be visiting us at the hill from 1-3 to provide information and answer any questions about the vital services they provide to women and children in Sault Ste. Marie.
Registration for the race is at 2 pm, and will be $20. Included in your registration fee will be a drink and BBQ ticket. BBQ tickets will be for sale as well if you want to support the cause without racing!
The race will be at 3 pm, and we would like to thank Searchmont Ski Runners (SSR) for organizing and coordinating the race. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place - all prizes have been graciously donated by local artists and businesses.
The Kiln will be participating in the FUNdraising as well, with a specialty mocktail available Friday only! Proceeds from this fun, alcohol-free drink will also be donated to Women in Crisis.
We're looking forward to the opportunity to give back to our local community with such a fantastic organization and a wonderful cause.
