COVID-19 Statement (March 14)

With an increase of inquiries over the past few days regarding the current state of the resort and the COVID-19 virus, we felt the need to comment on the situation.

Currently, all regular operations of the resort including ski slopes, accommodations and the lodge are scheduled to continue as planned until advised otherwise. We continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will alert the public if our plans do change in the future. At this time, we have no plans to close.

Yesterday, British Columbia's provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry made an interesting quote encouraging families to go out and experience what the great outdoors has to offer, "This virus does not transmit when people are outdoors, so go outside and play with your family, go up to our ski hills..."

Searchmont Resort will continue to provide a fun, safe and clean environment for our guests to enjoy their favourite activity. We are responsibly taking measures to ensure that we live up to the high expectations that we set for ourselves and the resort. Please stay tuned to our website and social media platforms for any further updates.

We look forward to seeing you on the slopes!
