Frequently Asked Questions

Does Searchmont have a ski patrol?

Yes, this year Searchmont is moving to an entirely volunteer based ski patrol, all volunteer and paid ski patrol receive equivalent training. While working through the transition to volunteer only, Canadian Ski Patrol elected to provide first aid coverage on Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm. If you are interested in volunteering weekdays and nights and are already trained with CSP we would love to have you join our team! For volunteer info, questions or comments, contact us at info@searchmont.com. Safety is our top priority and that will not change. We will not be opening the resort without adequate first aid on site. Our Outside Operations team will not serve as CSP.

Is the Quad open this year?

The Quad will not be replaced in the 2026/2027 season. Ground work and upgrades will be in place to make “the quad side” more accessible. All runs will open within the season as they become rideable.
